We will have the banya to ourselves, with a few hand-picked professionals on hand for the optional platzas and massages. Enjoy: Russian, Turkish and Swedish steam rooms, jacuzzi and cold plunge pool; poolside dance floor; rooftop smoking deck; authentic and delicious Russian food in a private restaurant room with a view of the dance floor.
Underground Horns, our roaring brass band, will get you sweating faster than the saunas, and we'll keep the dance floor sizzling after with irresistible ethnotek by DJ Joro Boro. There will be an open vodka bar 9-10pm and free piergoies around 11pm.

A clandestine French cabaret with sensuous live music, sultry burlesque and variety acts, followed by late-night dancing and lounging in our softly-lit loft, absinthe and other special libations at the bar, and kissing on the sprawling roof. Our house band will be playing three full sets to swoon, sway and dance to, with deliciously naughty performances in between. It's also our annual Birthday celebration: we turn 18 this year!

Our sold-out hit events is back for 2020! Dance your beads off to killer brass bands and enjoy authentic NoLA cocktails at the bar. Find the baby in the King Cake, and be king for the night: you get a crown, mask, beads and a drink ticket. - 12am - The L Train Brass Band - a 30-person crew awarded Best Music Group at 2018 Coney Island Mermaid Parade, cranking out a wild mix of NoLA jazz, Latin, Balkan, hip hop, funk, R&B and pop.
- 11pm - Brass Queens - An all-female brass ensemble with a diverse repertoire, featuring classic hits by woman artists, funk, soul and traditional NoLA second-line. Ladies kick BRASS!
- 10pm - Dingonek Street Band - New Orleans-style second line jazz meets Afrobeat and Ethio-jazz

Venus is the planet of pleasure and beauty, but its meaning has gone through many changes in the past. Who we refer to as the “Goddess of Love” used to represent the Earth Goddess energy. In ancient times Venus stood for the abundance of love and life, but she was also a Goddess of warfare, swordsmanship, omniscience and cosmic intelligence. ART: Open Studios: Glass in the City
Discover and celebrate the wonders of glass as a material that reflects, refracts, and makes up the walls and windows of our city! Join us for an afternoon of demonstrations and hands-on activities in our 17,000 square foot studio. A neon demonstration will show how the signs that light up our storefronts are made, as well as demonstrations in glassblowing and flameworking. MUSIC: Ambient Church New York: 100 Years of Theremin
An anniversary in honor of one of the most forward-thinking and otherworldly instruments of the 20th century, and in celebration of the NY Theremin Society's compilation. The NY Theremin Orchestra will perform original compositions, with selected pieces from Brian Eno and Kraftwerk. Dorit Chrysler will present the US premiere of new work from Laurie Spiegel alongside original scoring written for the restoration of Fritz Lang's M. And other special guests. FEST: 21st Annual New York City Lunar New Year Parade & Festival
A colorful spectacle featuring floats, marching bands, lion and dragon dancers, antique cars, beauty queens, Asian musical performers, magicians and acrobats, and local organizations. Each year, the BFF programming team reviews over 1000 short and feature length films to select 60-70 works from over 25 countries. Documentary, narrative, animation, music video, experimental - all are welcomed.
ART: Super Funland - Journey Into The The Erotic Carnival
The Museum of Sex explores the sexual origins of the carnival in a combination history and group-art exhibition, SUPER FUNLAND: Journey into the Erotic Carnival. The history gallery takes visitors from the carnival’s ancient bacchanalian origins to its evolution in pre-industrial Europe and the “midway” of the 20th century’s great World’s Fairs, describing how its licentious and permissive subtext has remained intact. The group art show tells this story in thirteen one-of-a-kind commissioned amusements created by an internationally renowned team of artists and designers, bringing themes of sexual carnality, decadence, and joy to a contemporary audience. ART: Annesta Le "Inner Space"
Yi Gallery is delighted to present Inner Space, an exhibition of recent neon sculptures and drawings by Brooklyn-based artist Annesta Le. A full-color catalog will accompany the exhibition with a text by David Ebony. This will be the first artist exhibition presented in the gallery’s new space. The exhibition includes two of Le’s previously unexhibited floating neon structures, alongside three marker drawings, and a group of neon on wood panels. ART: 18th Annual Holiday Train Show
Every holiday season, the New York Transit Museum’s Grand Central Gallery plays host to a city within a city with the display of a miniature electric railroad running over, through, and beneath some of New York’s most magnificent landmarks. This year’s exhibit is set against a mural designed by cartoonist Julia Wertz. (thru 2/23, New York Transit Museum, 99 Schermerhorn St, BK, see site for details, $10)
ART: Creatures from the Land of Thra: Character Design for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
This ongoing series explores the process of designing the fantastical characters for the new Netflix show. The exhibit features a selection of concept art, maquettes, puppets, and behind-the-scenes images, tracing the collaboration between concept artist Brian Froud, who originated the world of Thra in The Dark Crystal, and Jim Henson's Creature Shop, which built the puppets for the series. Highlights include the Hunter Skeksis, the General Skeksis, a Fizzgig, and the All-Maudra and Seladon Gelflings, as well as a series of detailed maquettes, created by Toby Froud, which were used as models for the characters.
