Hello lovelies,

This weekend is definitely hitting us hard. Valentine's Day is G&S birthday -- we're turning 18! -- as well as (roughly) the 9th birthday of our Loft. The two events we usually host to celebrate are two of our faves, with the annual Banya bash now in its 12th year, and the Parisian cabaret party exactly the kind of decadent underground gathering we pictured when we first opened the Loft doors. We miss them both.

We could use some virtual hugs. If you want to show us some love, the best way is to like/follow us on socials & interact with a few posts (links in signature). We'd particularly appreciate RSVPs to our one IRL happening, the COVID-pod immersive cocktail experience, Plum Blossom Parlor: https://www.facebook.com/events/5176161992424396 (FB is hiding it completely, the bastards)

We still have a few Valentine's Parlor spots available, btw, if you and your date/pod/friend/polycule would like to get out of the house for a covid-safe experience.

And lastly, if you felt like sending some financial support our way, options include merch, vintage & statement clothing resale, and one-time or monthly donations. All that info in the signature as well.

We hope you're all hanging in there.

makers of themed costume events with live entertainment

A COVID-safe immersive cocktail experience in a lovingly crafted jewel box speakeasy. Plum Blossom Parlor is a luscious indoor "garden" lodge, inspired by The Emperor's Garden -- a corner of Forbidden City palace complex in Beijing that was untouched for about 100 years & was being painstakingly restored for the last 15, to open in...2020. Our installation is just a tiny bit of love from Brooklyn to China, at a time when the world couldn't be more split apart.

The Parlor is designed for COVID pods of up to eight people (two minimum) and runs entirely unstaffed -- which means masks are not required once you're checked in. Handcrafted libations are pre-bottled & ready to enjoy on the spot or at home. A mini couch folds out, if you're booking for date night makeouts & pod cuddle puddles. Snack options are available by advance request. Simply book your time window & enjoy (book back-to-back slots to extend your time). You can also book the room for meetings, birthday parties, shoots, Zoom events, etc...absolutely anything, as long as no more than eight people are inside at any one time.

Please see our site for more info, and drop us a line if you'd like to learn more or to check availability.

Curry and her long-time collaborator, Jeff Stark selected a diverse range of stories to express through this sculptural work.
