Hello lovelies,

First, the last-minute thing: Miss Scorpio will be at the old loft *today* starting shortly / until early eve wrangling the multiple racks of statement, designer, vintage & costume wear before we have to move. If your Halloween costume could use a boost, you can drop on by and browse. We have maybe a quarter of items listed in various places here: http://linktr.ee/miss_scorpio_fashion -- but omg there's sooo much more here. There's even a dedicated vintage 90s goth & punk rack, since that was the last drop we were working on! Best method for last-minute communication is Insta (in signature).

Now, the big thing: this is the moment! We are wrapping up the first phase of dusty construction, doing a deep clean, and then MOVING ALL THE THINGS from 255 Douglass to 267 Douglass, our new home. And then of course we decorate for Halloween!

If you've been wanting to help, here is the plan:
- Friday 12pm-6pm is the big move. We have professionals booked for heavy items, but we have plenty of awkwardly shaped decor, bags of pillows, etc. Once we drop everything at the new space, we will start moving things around into their proper places.
- Sunday 12pm-6pm is decor day. With everything in place, it's time to hang curtains, lights and decorations. Let's turn this construction zone into a party zone!

If you volunteer for at least four hours, you get a ticket to either Persephone or Dark Open -- and you qualify for another ticket with every four hours you put in. We may go later than 6 on each day, but that depends on how well we get things done.

An update for Halloween: we expect both nights to sell out. We strongly recommend getting your tickets over next week, as we can't predict when the inevitable will happen. Friday will be lower capacity than Saturday, due to the nature of the event. For Saturday, we're about to add a small batch of Low Income tickets based on Patron ticket sales, so make sure you're on the waistlist if you need the Low Income tier.

There are some nights in this town that become legendary. Their sparkle lasts long beyond sunrise, when you might finally meander home. These are the nights you remember, and the reason you live in New York City. This is one of those nights.

Twenty years after we threw our first event...eleven years after we opened our first venue -- and a year after we closed it...three years into a life-altering pandemic...Gemini and Scorpio return with a Halloween celebration like only they can do: an all-night spectacle of riotous live music, dancing, circus arts and late-night revelry, snake-charmed into an absinthe-fueled early-morning speakeasy. The space may still be raw, but you can be here when the first-ever champagne cork is popped: to celebrate our (almost) opening, we pour free bubbly 9-10pm.

*All tickets offer the same access to the event. Please buy at the highest price you can, to support artists, production and affordable tickets for everyone. For every patron ticket ($60) we add a low income ticket ($25).
