We are suddenly in mega party mode over at the new Loft. Check it:

- Sat 2.25 - new and last minute dark dance & kink party! Circumstances have magically aligned to enable us to host a FREE Saturday night event, and we are here to deliver.

- Sat 3.4 - after a three-year pandemic pause, the big brass band bash is back! Trust us, you want to be in the room when 50 brass musicians hit at once. You've got till the end of this week to snag a ticket that includes a slice of King Cake, flown in directly from NoLa.

- Sat 3.18 - on the heels of the gorgeous Paris cabaret, another glamorous night of danceable vintage jazz, slinky burlesque and stunning variety. We highly recommend table reservations, as they are of course going first.

Calling all goths, vampires & kinksters for a last-minute FREE goth dance party! We will turn the lights down low, blast goth & industrial to dance to, and project dark visuals. Light kink play welcome, on our many soft surfaces or our St Andrew's Cross.

Dress code: goth, romantic, vampire, dark Lolita, neo-Victorian, steampunk, ninja warrior, fetish, Edward Scissorhands, at minimum all black.

After a three-year pandemic hiatus, our joyful sold-out hit event is back for 2023! Dance your beads off to killer brass bands and enjoy authentic NoLA cocktails all night in the ultimate Brooklyn party loft. Find the baby in the King Cake, and be king for the night: you get a crown, mask, beads and a drink ticket. Wear your glittering best and take advantage of our Sassy Selfie Station, with boas, masks and other fun props.  

Featuring:
- 12am - The L Train Brass Band - a non-profit community of 100+ members cranking out a wild mix of NoLA jazz, Latin, Balkan, hip hop, funk, R&B and pop
- 11pm - New Heights Brass Band - seven-piece women-first brass band playing original music that fuses street-band style energy with jazz and funk
- 10pm - Off The Bar Brass Band - five pop troubadours infusing second line brass with Linkin Park, Lizzo, and everything in between

Come early to get in on authentic homemade Louisiana gumbo, served 9-10pm or while it lasts.

Costume suggestions: masks, costumes, purple, gold, green, glitter, beads! We will have some masks available for sale, as well.

*Our King Cake is flown in directly from New Orleans! You must reserve by Feb 28 to get in on the order.

A 1920s speakeasy cabaret party in a secret Brooklyn loft, with live swingin' sounds by vintage jazz bands, blazing burlesque divas, stunning variety acts, exotic cocktails, and the best electro-swing DJs remixing and reinventing vintage grooves late into the night. "Gatsby-era fun with a twist of new-school vibe" (The Village Voice).

The night starts with an introductory dance class for swing basics by Brooklyn Swings, who teach at our loft every Tuesday night. Live music until 1am, with burlesque & variety during and between band sets. Electro-swing remixed vintage beats after, until the dancing is done.

Dress code (required): The Jazz Age never ended, it just got funky. Dress accordingly: "An event worth wearing that ridiculous zoot suit for." - TimeOut NY; "Corsets and top hats tweaked with studs and leather are totally appropriate." - The New York Times. Suggestions: vintage (1920s-1940s) with a modern twist, cabaret, burlesque, Weimar Berlin, classic Hollywood, classy, sassy, tailored, hats, feathers, fringe, sequins, beads. Effort required; if in doubt, go more formal. Dress code more relaxed after 1am for the electro-swing dance party.
