We have just one big blowout event this Friday via House of Scorpio, and then it's all quiet until Dark Dance...but other producers are hosting events at our Loft, and you should totally check out the fun.

G&S events:

- Fri 7.21 - Saints & Sinners - this is a House of Scorpio event (our sex-pos queer+ sister brand), but it's so damned amazing, we couldn't resist telling you...just look at that lineup! HoS membership starts at just $5, so all you need is a friend and a good outfit, and you can join the party.

- Fri 8.18 - Dark Dance party - goth meets kink, with some very special guest DJs.

Happening at the Loft (non-G&S events):

- Thur 7.20 - Fusion dance party - an inclusive all-gender all-style partner dance, where you're not required to bring a partner.

- Sat 7.23 - Poetry Undressed: The Unveiling - burlesque meets poetry, with live music backing.

For one night only, our sexy clubhouse becomes a full-on strip club, with a pole stage, an array of lap dance-ready seating, and our very own Champagne Room. There will be eight dancers to entertain you: each a hand-picked burlesque, pole or circus star stepping outside the boundaries of their genre to spend the whole night dancing for you on stage and in your lap.

Rules of the club: Tip generously (dancers & bar staff). Don't hog the rail (stage-side seating) if not actively tipping. Get lap dances: they're the best part, and only $10. Respect the dancers. Keep your hands to yourself (or your partner). Please treat our pole gently; no wild swinging.

HoS rules: HoS membership, Dress Code & PAL required; prior approval not required; Code of Conduct always applies; no photos except in the designated front area.

COVID safety: HoS requires proof of vaccination on file; masks encouraged; two hospital grade UV air purifiers will cycle the air.

*Reserved seats include: admission + seat at either a couch or a 4-person table with prime stage view + access to reserved lap dance seat. Seat choice is first-come, first-served.

Introducing “Dance at Dusk” - Brooklyn's first monthly Fusion Dance gathering (next event Thur Aug 17).

Fusion Dance is a magnificent blend of styles coming together to create a fluid improvisational partner dance. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a newbie looking to learn how to move your feet, this style is inclusive for all because of its diverse nature. Perfect for a date night, a night out with friends or laid back weekday fun that will get you home by midnight.

We kick off each event with an introductory dance lesson focusing on some basics of the dance style, followed by a consent talk. Afterwards, let loose on the open dance floor as our talented rotating cast of DJs send us through the night. Featured DJs for the kick-off party: DJ Duo SAL-T-LEX (T-LEX and SALT QUEEN).

This event is specifically inclusive of all gender, queer and POC backgrounds, so whoever you are, dress to express yourself and dance the night away. Solo folks welcome, as traditionally dance partners will rotate through the night.

Doc Brown and Connie Lingus present the third installment of Poetry Undressed: The Unveiling...a night to reveal our authentic selves.

Poetry Undressed (@poetry_undressed) is an experimental poetry burlesque experience. One by one, burlesque dancers bring poetry readings to life with movement over a backdrop of improvised upright bass. Attendees sit together on rugs and toss flower petals at the performers, making for a truly intimate night of radical expression.

At this show, The Unveiling, we investigate the masks we wear, the barriers we create between our truest selves and everyone else. On this night, we gently, or recklessly, pull them away to reveal ourselves in all our authentic glory - and all our infinite contradiction.

Featuring performances by Maggie McMuffin, Jack Rabbit Slims, Peter Mercury, Dutch Baby, Phoenix Fucktoy, Parton Shots, & Lil’y Con Carnage. Guest poetry reading by Jane LeCroy and improvised upright bass by the spectacular Aine.

Calling all goths, vampires & kinksters for a classic goth dance party! We will turn the lights down low, blast goth & industrial to dance to, and project dark visuals. Light kink play welcome, on our many soft surfaces or our St Andrew's Cross. We embrace all genders and sexualities and levels of darkness.

On decks:

Special guest from LA: DJ Shiver has been bringing the best of darkwave, goth, industrial, and post-punk sounds since 2015. Having spun at Femme Fest LA, Defcon NYC, and co-founding clubs Dolce Vita and Physical Ruins, she continues to blend both beloved classics and the best of new dark music. She also runs Wire Trap music magazine featuring the best new darkwave and post-punk music and events.

Special guest from Belgium: DJ Wildhoney has been active for 30 years in the alternative Goth scene, and is making his US debut here in NYC. He has spun in many clubs all over Europe, including the legendary Wave-Gotik-Treffen (DE) and runs the podcast Dark Signs.

Dress code: goth, romantic, vampire, dark Lolita, neo-Victorian, steampunk, ninja warrior, fetish, Edward Scissorhands, at minimum all black / no streetwear.
