Here are our grand weekend plans & a ticket update.

- Fri 12.29 - Dark DecaDance - After a year of testing the waters with our Dark Dance party, we're going darker and more decadent: a full-on kink play event meets goth dance party. Our very special guest DJ for this one is Xris Smack, the legendary party producer and DJ. The entire Loft will be both dance floor and play space! We're going more private and protected, too, locking it down to our consent-forward sexy House of Scorpio membership club. Join us there (link in signature)! Signup is quick and easy, with no multi-month commitment, and memberships starts at just $5, while full benefits kick in at the $15 level. HoS does 5-7 events per month, so once you're a member, you can check out mixers, movies, makeout parties, and more.

- Sat/Sun 12.30-31 - The Black And White Masked Ball - G&S NYE weekend blowout, both Saturday and Sunday of the big weekend. The best hot jazz and swing bands in NYC, OTT burlesque and variety, vintage glamour dress code...a magical immersive NYE like only G&S can do. We're doing a 24hr flash sale for the Saturday event: $5 off an already-affordable glamourous evening with code "minus5". Sunday, NYE proper, no longer has Low Income tickets, and less than half of VIP remain. Ticket sales always take off at this point...don't wait till last minute, especially if you want a reserved seat.

A culmination of a year of our goth + dance + kink queer-forward Dark Dance parties, DDD is a more intimate & protected space, inviting all participants to let go and play in our luscious private loft. Dance floor to dungeon stations, explore your dark desires...bring your dates & your toys. We embrace all genders and sexualities and levels of darkness. Consent and polite party behavior strictly enforced.

On decks:

Resident DJ: DJ Shiver has been bringing the best of darkwave, goth, industrial, and post-punk sounds since 2015. Having spun at Femme Fest LA, Defcon NYC, and co-founding clubs Dolce Vita and Physical Ruins, she continues to blend both beloved classics and the best of new dark music. She also runs Wire Trap music magazine featuring the best new darkwave and post-punk music and events.

Guest DJ: Xris SMack! is an international DJ, VJ, Video & Music Producer/Engineer/Musician/Remixer as well as the founder and producer of SMack!, NYC’s premiere multimedia fetish event in New York City, and the STIMULATE monthly music event. Over the last 20+ years, Xris has DJ’ed internationally at Music Festivals, Fetish Weekends, Art Events and more, from Montreal to L.A., New Orleans, Germany, Florida, Vancouver and beyond.

On stage: go go and pole dancers, plus a very special performance from Anna Monoxide.

Amenities: soft furniture for lounging and playing; St Andrew's cross and impact tools; medieval torture style suspended spreader bar; multiple 11' rigging points; huge stage with 8' rigging point; sensory play station with blindfolds and toys; restraints, ropes and other toys to borrow; unisex bathrooms.

Dress code: goth, fetish, romantic, vampire, dark Lolita, neo-Victorian, steampunk, ninja warrior. Effort required / no casual wear.

HoS rules: HoS membership, PAL & Dress Code required; no prior approval required; Code of Conduct always applies; no photos except in the designated front area.

COVID safety: HoS requires proof of vaccination on file; masks encouraged; two hospital grade UV air purifiers will cycle the air.

Royalty and Hollywood idols, authors and political powerhouses filled the imposing ballroom in strict shades of black and white, masked and mysterious, amidst the Plaza Hotel's signature red accents.

Expect the surreal and the sublime in shades of black and white, rich sounds of jazz, brass and swing whisking your body into a fervor, dancers swirling like op-art animations, aerialists in dizzying patterns soaring overhead, dance divas shimmering in feathers and rhinestones, feats of fantastic physical strength, mysterious clairvoyants to divine your future, and booty-shaking DJs.

With NYC' best vintage bands delivering three full dance sets of irresistible hot jazz and swing...

Sat: Svetlana & The Delancey Five, recently hitting #1 on Billboard's Traditional Jazz charts. An "exuberant, foot-stomping dance party" (WPIX11TV) by "New York City's darling" (Time Out NY) "exceptional vocalist and songwriter" (Wall Street Journal).

Sun: "Today’s premier swing band" (Broadway World) Danny Jonokuchi & The Revisionists. Danny has contributed to multiple Grammy-winning projects, is the recipient of numerous awards, and has played to critical acclaim on many of the world's most famous jazz stages.
