- Fri 1.26 - Dark DecaDance - New Year's weekend goth dance & kink play bash was such a hit that we are taking this sensuous party monthly, on every fourth Friday. It's also officially moving to our sexier sister site, House of Scorpio, so we can provide more play room, more safe space, and generally a more private atmosphere. HoS is a consent-forward all-gender all-orientation membership clubhouse. Signup is quick and easy, with no multi-month commitment, and memberships starts at just $5, while full benefits kick in at the $15 level. HoS does 5-7 events per month, so once you're a member, you can check out mixers, movies, makeout parties, and more. - Sat 2.10 - Meet Me in Paris - step back in time to turn-of-century Paris in our annual Valentine's cabaret bash. Live music, live performance, cozy seating, swingin' dance floor, killer cocktails. Best date night in town at about half the price of a boring restaurant.

- Wed 2.14 - Dance Hall of Languid Delight - inspired by the dance halls of the early twentieth century and slow dancing from junior high school, The Dance Hall is an evening filled with tantalizing restraint. Fill your dance card (yes, really), and slow dance all night with rotating partners. With our dance matrons sweeping the dance floor, nobody will be left a wallflower. Plenty of room for dressing up and romance, but an inclusive and sweet night for those flying solo.

A culmination of a year of our goth + dance + kink queer-forward Dark Dance parties, DDD is a more intimate & protected space, inviting all participants to let go and play in our luscious private loft. Dance floor to dungeon stations, explore your dark desires...bring your dates & your toys. We embrace all genders and sexualities and levels of darkness. Consent and polite party behavior strictly enforced.

On decks:

DJ Shiver has been bringing the best of darkwave, goth, industrial, and post-punk sounds since 2015. Having spun at Femme Fest LA, Defcon NYC, and co-founding clubs Dolce Vita and Physical Ruins, she continues to blend both beloved classics and the best of new dark music. She also runs Wire Trap music magazine featuring the best new darkwave and post-punk music and events.

Xris SMack! is an international DJ, VJ, Video & Music Producer/Engineer/Musician/Remixer as well as the founder and producer of SMack!, NYC’s premiere multimedia fetish event in New York City, and the STIMULATE monthly music event. Over the last 20+ years, Xris has DJ’ed internationally at Music Festivals, Fetish Weekends, Art Events and more, from Montreal to L.A., New Orleans, Germany, Florida, Vancouver and beyond.

On stage: go go and pole dancers Jolt & Gia. Bring that folding money for stage and lap dance tips!

On screen: dark visuals by resident VJs CJ & Josh Goldberg.

Amenities: soft furniture for lounging and playing; St Andrew's cross and impact tools; medieval torture style suspended spreader bar; multiple 11' rigging points; huge stage with 8' rigging point; sensory play station with blindfolds and toys; restraints, ropes and other toys to borrow; unisex bathrooms.

HoS exclusive: starting at this event, we're kicking off a partnership with Raven & Lantern Leather, the hidden naughty side of The Adventurer Supply leather & blacksmith fantasy shop in Industry City (Sunset Park, BK - just 10min away from the Loft). We're upgrading all house restraints to be custom made by the shop, and all guests to DDD will receive a card with an exclusive 15% discount to anything you may order. They can hook you up with anything from a harness to a sword!

Dress code: goth, fetish, romantic, vampire, dark Lolita, neo-Victorian, steampunk, ninja warrior. Effort required / no casual wear.

COVID safety: HoS requires proof of vaccination on file; masks encouraged; two hospital grade UV air purifiers will cycle the air.

A clandestine French cabaret with sensuous live music, sultry burlesque and variety acts, followed by late-night dancing and lounging in our softly-lit loft. Our house band will be playing three full sets to swoon, sway and dance to, with deliciously naughty performances during and in between. Absinthe and other special libations at the bar. It's also our annual Birthday celebration: we turn 22 this year!

- Three sets of vintage danceable French gems straight out of the pre-war Parisian cabaret scene by Adrien Chevalier Hot Club
- Risqué burlesque performed live to the band by Mia the MVP
- Daring acts by Coney Island's Dangerous Dancing Mermaid Obsidian Absurd
- Swords, aerial and general wildness by Alaska the Lost Boy
- Nouvelle chanson to electro-swing dance party after the band
- Free social dance class by Brooklyn Swings at 9:30pm

Cabaret through the ages (turn-of-century Belle Époque Moulin Rouge cabaret, 1920s Josephine Baker cabaret, 1930s Marlene Dietrich cabaret, 1940s Edith Piaf cabaret, 1950s Jacques Brel cabaret, 1960s las Vegas cabaret, 1970s Bob Fosse cabaret, timeless cabaret lounge, anachronistic punk cabaret); vintage or modern high style; dressy & classy. No casual wear, please.

Inspired by the dance halls of the early twentieth century and slow dancing from junior high school, The Dance Hall is an evening filled with tantalizing restraint. The esteemed DJ James Mulry delivers eclectic slow dances all night via vinyl record. Hosted by the illustrious Kate Brehm.  

Participants are given dance cards to arrange partnered prances in the opening half hour and dance set breaks. Get social in our jungle-themed bar with fun cocktails & mocktails, and arrange your dances for the night. You don't need a partner or dance skills to participate: a slow dance lesson begins the evening, and any wallflowers are matched up by roving dance matrons (note: gender is irrelevant for partner dancing).

Dress as your most magnificent self (gender irrelevant for fabulous dress, as well). Selfie photo booth set up to capture your looks.

Arrive on time to start filling your dance card. Dance lesson and evening instructions at 7:30pm. Three dance card music sets begin at 7:45pm & end at 10:30pm, with intermissions between sets. Slow dance music in intermissions and after for open dancing.
