Fusion Dance is a magnificent blend of styles forming a fluid improvisational partner dance. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a newbie looking to learn how to move your feet, this style is inclusive for all because of its diverse nature. We kick off each event with an introductory dance lesson focusing on basics of the dance style, followed by a consent talk. Afterwards, let loose on the open dance floor as our talented rotating cast of DJs send us through the night.

Our teacher this month: Jenny Sowden of Brooklyn Swings. DJs: Jenny Sowden and Salt Queen Fox.

This event is specifically inclusive of all genders, orientations and ethnic backgrounds. Whoever you are, dress to express yourself and dance the night away. Solo folks welcome, as traditionally dance partners will rotate through the night.

Calling all LGBTQIA+, poly, swinger, kink and other "alternative" dating/sex/gender-aligned humans and their allies for a social & dance blowout. We got lights & smoke & lasers, booming bass, spinning disco ball, swirling visuals, lots of dance floor, lots of couches, killer AC or cozy heat. Queer DJs lay down an eclectic mix of happy hits & house beats.

Dress code: your queerest self! Sparkly unicorns, leather daddies, LED aliens, fancy fairies, punk dykes, glitter glamour queens, sequin divas, kinky party monsters, dandy butches, neon rainbow bears. This party is inclusive of all genders & expressions -- except casual wear. Dress to dance!

COVID safety: HoS requires proof of vaccination on file; masks encouraged; two hospital grade UV air purifiers will cycle the air.

DDD is a goth + dance + kink queer-forward celebration, inviting all participants to let go, dance and play in our luscious private loft. We embrace all genders and sexualities and levels of darkness. Consent and polite party behavior strictly enforced.

On decks:

DJ Shiver has been bringing the best of darkwave, goth, industrial, and post-punk sounds since 2015. Having spun at Femme Fest LA, Defcon NYC, and co-founding clubs Dolce Vita and Physical Ruins, she continues to blend both beloved classics and the best of new dark music. She also runs Wire Trap music magazine featuring the best new darkwave and post-punk music and events.

Jeffo! has one of the largest collections of 80s records around and isn't afraid to spin the rarities and b-sides you forgot you loved. An original Club Kid, he started DJing at Purgatory (Pyramid), Damnation (The Bank) and Censored (The Building), some of the first parties in NYC to blend New Wave, Post-punk, Gothic, and Industrial, and was a resident DJ at Zenwarp (Limelight and Webster Hall.) More recently he's spun at SVMMON, DefCon, Dorian Gray, The Red Party, SMack!, Salvation, and Cabaret Berlin (Montreal).

Dress code: goth, fetish, romantic, vampire, dark Lolita, neo-Victorian, steampunk, ninja warrior. Effort required / no casual wear.

*Dark DecaDance happens on every fourth Friday of the month.
