If you have been with us for any length of time, you know Valentine's Day is our Birthday -- it was for VDay in 2002 that G&S threw its first party! We return this year with our annual immersive cabaret celebration, Meet Me in Paris, with live hot jazz & variety acts. You can reserve couch seats & tables and have the loveliest date time, with friends or lovers. And then there's the makeout party (and if That Kind of Party is new to you, we highly recommend the mixer tomorrow as a soft intro to all things HoS).

We promise, we're very friendly. And of course it's also FREE for members, so sign up now so you can attend the makeout party later...and any other HoS event of the *six* this month.

- Fri 2.14 - Lip Service: pansexual makeout party ($0-25, HoS members only) - We normally keep House of Scorpio over on the other site & list, but who can resist a makeout party on Valentine's Day?! Yes, you will need a HoS membership to join the fun (these start at $5), as well as an accountability buddy to come with you. More details below and on the HoS site.

- Sat 2.15 - Meet Me in Paris ($20-50, open to all) - step back in time to turn-of-century Paris in our annual Valentine's cabaret bash. Live music, live performance, cozy seating, swingin' dance floor, killer cocktails. Best date night in town at about half the price of a boring restaurant. Low income tickets are just $20, but they do sell out fast.

- Sat 3.1 - Brooklyn Mardi Gras - Bands are confirmed, and tickets are officially on sale! You got about two weeks to get in on gumbo and king cake flown in directly from NoLa: those tickets can only be reserved before EOD Sun 2.23.

We get asked all the time how people can join HoS if they are shy, don't have like-minded friends, lack PALs for play parties, have no idea how this whole thing works, don't feel like jumping into sexy activity but want to connect to open-minded humans, etc. This party is the answer!

Calling all LGBTQIA+, poly, kink, swinger and other "alternative" dating/sex/gender-aligned humans and their allies. We're creating a protected and judgment-free space for connections, conversations, community, games and interactivity. This is the key HoS event open to non-members. Come meet us before you join!

For those of you new to it all: direct introductions to HoS members new and old; facilitated discussions on poly, kink and swinger lifestyles; icebreaker games to welcome you to our club.

For our regulars: a way to ease new friends into our scene; a chance to meet all the new faces you may want to kiss later; a visit with the community even if your PAL is not around.

For everyone: tabletop and social games, both risqué and plain fun; a charming host to make the introductions and explain all things HoS and sex-positive, and a cozy setting for conversations and future kisses. Our main icebreaker game, HoS Guest Bingo, runs from 7:30pm until we have a winner: get to know everyone in the room, and win a drink if you complete your bingo card.

Miss Scorpio is back hosting the mixer! Come ask her directly anything you want to know about this community. We've been building it for you for 10+ years, and hope to be here for 10+ more.

HoS rules: HoS membership, PAL and dress code not required; no prior approval required; Code of Conduct always applies; no photos except in the designated front area.

A clandestine French cabaret with sensuous live music, sultry burlesque and variety acts, followed by late-night dancing and lounging in our softly-lit loft. Our house band will be playing three full sets to swoon, sway and dance to, with deliciously naughty performances during and in between. Absinthe and other special libations at the bar. It's also our annual Birthday celebration: we turn 23 this year!

12am - The L Train Brass Band - a non-profit community of 100+ musicians cranking out a wild mix of NoLA jazz, Latin, Balkan, hip hop, funk, R&B and pop

- 11pm - HONK Family Band - house band of HONK NYC brass festivals, HFB brings the carnival to the party, second-lining onto the stage with liberatory joy. Expect sizzling solos, samba reggae sounds, pop classics and lots o' sass.

- 10pm - AdHoc Brass Band - ADHoc hits the streets of NYC with a big NOLA sound, fusing that swingin’ second-line swagger with the raw power of a modern street band: high-energy, hard-hitting, and unstoppable.

Plus: authentic food and drink flown in directly from NoLA! If you reserve your ticket by EOD Sunday Feb 18, you get a slice of King Cake included FREE - any extra cake will be sold at $5/slice, accompanied by (decaf) Cafe du Monde coffee. We will also serve traditional chicken & andouille sausage gumbo over rice 9-11pm or while it lasts ($15/plate, can also be reserved before 2.19).

Costume suggestions: masks, costumes, purple, gold, green, glitter, beads! We will have some masks available for sale, as well.
