We have two back-to-back events for you this weekend! After that, we'll be going a big dark again (except for the monthly goth party).

It's a tough year all around, and we can't create events with the frequency we used to. If you'd like to support our continued existence (and we really do need support), there are three easy ways, all in signature below: 1) one-time donations 2) ongoing monthly donations via our sister group, House of Scorpio 3) shopping Miss Scorpio's most fabulous clothing & costume collection!

- This Fri 2.28 - Dark DecaDance ($0-20) - Let's get goth, people! DDD has been a monthly highlight for us, growing its own community over this past year, and we love welcoming new people into the fold. Forget the pink and red...tonight we wear BLACK.

- This Sat 3.1 - Brooklyn Mardi Gras ($25-50) - One of the absolute best parties of the year is back! Gumbo and king cake are flying across the country from NoLa, and we can't wait to share the delicious flavors and sounds of this magical city with you.

DDD is a queer-forward kink-friendly goth dance celebration, inviting all participants to let go, dance and play in our luscious private loft. We embrace all genders and sexualities and levels of darkness.
 
On decks: resident DJ Shiver has been bringing the best of darkwave, goth, industrial, and post-punk sounds since 2015. Having spun at Femme Fest LA, Defcon NYC, and co-founding clubs Dolce Vita and Physical Ruins, she continues to blend both beloved classics and the best of new dark music. She also runs Wire Trap music magazine featuring the best new darkwave and post-punk music and events.

Guest DJ: Newark, NJ native DJ Luna is a force to be reckoned with: he is QXT's resident DJ with 20+ years DJing experience. Cultivating the soundtrack for the evening, inspiring the dance floor to stay in perpetual motion, seamlessly blending genres and varying styles...Luna's set lists are always unique, dark, electronic and stimulating.

Light kink play welcome, but please note there is no dedicated dungeon setup or dedicated monitors. Consent and polite party behavior strictly enforced.

Plus: Fundraiser for LA wildfires! World Central Kitchen has been doing an amazing job of getting hot meals to displaced residents and first responders. We'd like to collect donations for them at the event to help them continue their work: https://wck.org

Dress code: goth, fetish, romantic, vampire, dark Lolita, neo-Victorian, steampunk, ninja warrior. Effort required / no casual wear.

Respiratory safety: masks always welcome; two hospital grade UV air purifiers cycle the air.

The raucous, joyful sold-out hit event is back for 2025! Dance your beads off to killer brass bands and enjoy authentic NoLA cocktails all night in the ultimate Brooklyn party loft. Find the baby in the King Cake, and be king for the night: you get a crown, mask, beads and a drink ticket. Wear your glittering best and take advantage of our Sassy Selfie Station, with boas, masks and other fun props, plus temp tattoos by HONK NYC.

Featuring:

12am - The L Train Brass Band - a non-profit community of 100+ musicians cranking out a wild mix of NoLA jazz, Latin, Balkan, hip hop, funk, R&B and pop

- 11pm - HONK Family Band - house band of HONK NYC brass festivals, HFB brings the carnival to the party, second-lining onto the stage with liberatory joy. Expect sizzling solos, samba reggae sounds, pop classics and lots o' sass.

- 10pm - AdHoc Brass Band - ADHoc hits the streets of NYC with a big NOLA sound, fusing that swingin’ second-line swagger with the raw power of a modern street band: high-energy, hard-hitting, and unstoppable.

*Plus: authentic food and drink flown in directly from NoLA! If you reserve your ticket by Mon 2.24 12pm, you get a slice of King Cake included FREE - any extra cake will be sold at $5/slice, accompanied by (decaf) Cafe du Monde coffee. We will also serve traditional chicken & andouille sausage gumbo over rice 9-11pm or while it lasts ($15/plate, can also be reserved in advance on the ticket page).

Costume suggestions: masks, costumes, purple, gold, green, glitter, beads! We will have some masks available for sale, as well.
