- Tonight! Wed 5.7 - Frequently Questioned Answers (FREE, open to all) - a Burning Man info session and social.

- This Sat 5.10 - Spring Clean for a May Queen (FREE, open to all) - we're doing it again! Loft sale, pop-up market, and now even a FREE clothes swap. If you want to beat the crowd, House of Scorpio is hosting their monthly makeout party, Lip Service, on Friday, and Miss Scorpio's racks will be set up. It's festival fashion preview season!

- Fri 5.23 - Dark DecaDance ($0-20 / discount for HoS members) - a classic goth dance party in a queer-forward space, with light kink play welcome. $5 off admission if you reserve by EOD next Fri!

What is it?

1) A pop-up market! Shop local vendors for a wardrobe refresh, Mother's Day gifts or festival season fits.

2) A community sale! An eclectic closet cleanout selection from your neighbors, from designer to basics to kid clothes.

3) A clothes swap! An area will be reserved for FREE items (we'd love to then donate to a local charity -- do you have a fave? let us know).

Plus: Find something you love with a small flaw? Drop it off with mending expert Libby Fearnley of keepmending.com while you shop and pick it up on your way out. Or stay awhile and try some DIY mending and leave with fresh duds and new life skills, too.

Want to vend your art or bring a curated selection of secondhand items? You’ll need to BYO table or racks to set up, and be there at least an hour before event start. No fees, but donations to keep the loft going are hugely appreciated. We suggest 20% from your sales or $50 minimum, whatever is greater -- usual booth fees would be $75+. To participate, please email "vend" [at] "geminiandscorpio" [dot] com.

Bringing items for a swap? You don't need racks, just a large box or bin with your name on it (bags fall over; you need something sturdy). You must take what's left at the end of the day: do not leave any items behind unless we confirm a donation plan. No need to confirm in advance, but you must check in with Miss Scorpio in the bar area when you arrive.

DDD is a queer-forward kink-friendly goth dance celebration, inviting all participants to let go, dance and play in our luscious private loft. We embrace all genders and sexualities and levels of darkness.
 
On decks: resident DJ Shiver has been bringing the best of darkwave, goth, industrial, and post-punk sounds since 2015. Having spun at Femme Fest LA, Defcon NYC, and co-founding clubs Dolce Vita and Physical Ruins, she continues to blend both beloved classics and the best of new dark music. She also runs Wire Trap music magazine featuring the best new darkwave and post-punk music and events.

Light kink play welcome, but please note there is no dedicated dungeon setup or dedicated monitors. Consent and polite party behavior strictly enforced.

Dress code: goth, fetish, romantic, vampire, dark Lolita, neo-Victorian, steampunk, ninja warrior. Effort required / no casual wear.

Respiratory safety: masks always welcome; two hospital grade UV air purifiers cycle the air.

*Dark DecaDance happens on every fourth Friday of the month.
