Priiide tiiime! We're having a busy private event stretch at the Loft (do you need a venue for literally anything? The place is gorgeous and ready!), which means we can't do the usual Brooklyn Pride afers -- but with House of Scorpio as our in-house queer-forward community, you know there are many ways to celebrate. - This Sat 6.13 - Guest event: Vault Forever! Surface Never! ($0-25, open to all) - our dear doorman Frank is hosting his second-ever big party, and if you witnessed the madness of his Hitchhiker's bash last year, you KNOW you need to be there. We're going all out with a Fallout theme, and it'll be properly ridiculous. We've taken a step back from these kinds of events, but still love them and are excited to support. And it's for Frank!

Our Pride month pick is one we've been dyyyying to screen since it came out: Pillion (2025). A gay D/s romance with Alexander Skarsgård as a leather-clad biker dom? We might just faint with thirst!

Kurious: kink munch and skillshare ($0-10, open to all) - We're bringing back our kinky social, where you can chill with your fellow kinksters, practice your Bedroom Badass skills and meet our brand new teacher! Pro domme Viktoria Sway is joining HoS in July to lead a variety of classes, but first -- let's get to know each other and have a little playful Pride pre-party before we go into Countdown full play mode (if you're Kurious enough for Countdown, you'll need to join HoS as a member and get on board with a couple of other requirements; read the HoS site).

A directionless man (Harry Melling) is swept off his feet when an enigmatic, impossibly handsome biker (Alexander Skarsgård) takes him on as his submissive. The film was unusual not just in its empathic & non-judgmental insider look at gay BDSM / leather culture, but in becoming an explosive mainstream success while dealing frankly with marginalized sexuality and romance: it received 34 prestigious award nominations (including BAFTA Outstanding British Film of the Year, Outstanding Debut, Best Screenplay; Cannes Un Certain Regard, Golden Camera, Queer Palm) and 17 wins (including British Independent Film Award Film of the year)

Sinema Club is curated and hosted by Phil Guie-Ng (@thatphilguymovies): an inquisitive, ardent longtime film critic who is dying to tell you about movies you haven't heard of yet. As a reviewer at the website Film-Forward, his self-appointed mission was covering documentaries and features about subjects who challenged conventional attitudes about gender, masculinity, and more. When Phil isn't writing about movies, you can find him in Brooklyn taking part in protests on behalf of basic human rights.

On decks: resident DJ Shiver has been bringing the best of darkwave, goth, industrial, and post-punk sounds since 2015. Having spun at Femme Fest LA, Defcon NYC, and co-founding clubs Dolce Vita and Physical Ruins, she continues to blend both beloved classics and the best of new dark music. She also runs Wire Trap music magazine featuring the best new darkwave and post-punk music and events.

Special guest DJ: Adrienne Scissorhands from Oakland, CA. Adrienne has been DJing since the early 2000’s, playing at clubs and festivals in multiple cities and countries, and running their own monthly party, Post-Mortem, since 2017. They have a passion for supporting and exposing current artists worldwide as well as playing old school bangers.

Light kink play welcome, but please note there is no dedicated dungeon setup or monitors. Consent and polite party behavior strictly enforced.
