Hello lovelies,

Greetings from G&S and HoS, your alternative event producers and keepers of the magical Gemini & Scorpio Loft in Gowanus, BK. This week holds one of our best secret gatherings...see below.

And...did you know House of Scorpio recently started a Discord? https://discord.gg/h9c8yAFKB

>>  September with G&S, HoS and guest producers (scroll down for full invites in date order):  <<

- Fri 9.18 - Saints & Sinners: pop-up strip club ($0-25 GA / $0-45 VIP, members only) - You know it; you love it; there's nothing else like it. Don't know? You should know. And no, we can't tell you more. Earlybird tix until Fri Sep 4 give $10 off for members *and guests* on both GA and reserved seat admission. Snag them now.

- Sun 9.20 - The Garden of Earthly Delights ($25-65, open to all) - two back-to-back sensuous burlesque shows presented in the round, plus art, experiences and vendors.

- Fri 9.25 - New party launch! Kurious: kink munch and skillshare ($0-10, open to all) - An open social where you can chill with your fellow kinksters, practice your Bedroom Badass skills and meet our brand new teacher! Pro domme Viktoria Sway is joining HoS to lead a variety of classes, but first -- let's get to know each other and have a little playful pre-party practice before we go into DDD kink play mode. Her first class with us (Wed Oct 7) is the foundational BDSM Blueprint, and she'll give you a little taste of it at Kurious.

- Fri 9.25 - Dark DecaDance goth dance + kink play party ($0-20, open to all) - queer meets kink meets goth. Kink play welcome against our backdrop of a social and dance party, but all bottoms must stay on. Yes, the cross and the toys will be out. Plus an open-to-all kink mixer before the event; see below.

More House of Scorpio in October (info on HoS site, in signature):

For one night only, our sexy clubhouse becomes a full-on strip club, with a double-pole stage, an array of lap dance-ready seating, and our very own Champagne Room. A hand-picked lineup of rainbow-gendered burlesque, pole or circus stars awaits, each stepping outside the boundaries of their genre to spend the whole night dancing for you on stage and in your lap.

Don't be late: entertainment starts at 9:30pm. Once the dancers are done at 1am, the stage is yours to shake your booty on. Live out your strip fantasies as our DJ provides the beats into the night.

Featuring:
- Lydia Vengeance, the manic pixie nightmare witch
- Vonka, the BaVonkaDonk
- Laura Desiree, the sky-high sinner & former Naked News host
- Nina Lavoix, the grande dame of derriere
- Esmé, French charm with a New York attitude
- Butchie Gamble, the sinful embodiment of sensual sass
- Hosted by queerlesque clown Daddy Ho - the daddy who actually loves you!

Rules of the club: Bring cash to tip dancers & bar staff generously (we can exchange your larger bills but there's no ATM). You're welcome to sit stage-side when tipping, but please rotate out when your wallet needs a break. Get lap dances: they're the best part...then try the champagne room, because that's the only way it can get better. Respect the dancers. Keep your hands to yourself (or your partner). Please treat our pole gently; no wild swinging.

*HoS rules: HoS membership & Dress Code required; PAL & prior approval not required; Code of Conduct always applies; no photos except in the designated front area.

**Reserved seats include: admission + seat at either a couch or a 4-person table with prime stage view, one row behind the rail (ie the seats are yours all night, and you can rotate in/out of the rail in front if desired). Seat choice is first-come, first-served.

***Yes, we can also create group (6+) tickets for birthdays, bachelor/ettes, etc. At least one person in the group has to be a Friend+ member. Please contact admin [at] houseofscorpio [com] to set up.

Respiratory safety: masks welcome; two hospital grade UV air purifiers will cycle the air.

A brand new open-to-all social, skillshare + practice munch for the kinky-curious and those who know for sure, led by HoS’ new Bedroom Badass class teacher Goddess Viktoria Sway. Kurious is here to lead you to new ideas and approaches, let you ask the questions you’re not sure whom and how to ask, and connect you with people who get it, so you can start building the kinky life you want to explore. You’re welcome to bring toys to practice in a low-pressure, cozy (and fully dressed) space.

Each event includes open social time, a brief "knowledge teaser" demo or sneak peek of HoS classes to come, and a chance to practice your own or past class skills with a pro's supervision and feedback. It's also your opportunity to request specific topics for future classes.

This month's teaser: Goddess Viktoria's psychological approach to BDSM fosters a deeper understanding of desires, language, skills and sensations. She will give a brief teaser of her signature workshop, Discover Your BDSM Blueprint, which is kicking off our Bedroom Badass series on Wed Oct 7.

Kurious is followed by our monthly queer-forward kink play & goth dance party Dark DecaDance (combo tickets are available). For those of you staying to play & dance at DDD, feel free to dress casual for the mixer and change by 10:30pm, as per DDD rules -- or be your full kinky gothy self the whole time.

About our teacher: Goddess Viktoria Sway is a NYC Dominatrix and kink educator with 15 years in the community and 10 years of professional practice and direct instruction. An expert in the psychology of kink, she teaches the mechanics of erotic D/s dynamics. Her focus: the practical skills of D/s and how to actually use them in your scenes, from how you communicate and negotiate to how you build and hold dynamic in the moment.

HoS rules: HoS membership, dress code, PAL, prior approval not required; Code of Conduct always applies; no photos except in the designated front area. If you also want to attend DDD, all the usual DDD event rules apply.

*Kurious happens on every fourth Friday of the month.

People always ask if can join HoS if they are shy, don't have like-minded friends, lack PALs for play parties, have no idea how this whole thing works, don't feel like jumping into sexy activity but want to connect to open-minded humans, etc etc. This party is the answer!

Calling all LGBTQIA+, poly, kink, ENM and other "alternative" dating/sex/gender-aligned humans and their allies. We're creating a protected and judgment-free space for connections, conversations, community, games and interactivity. This is the place to start if you've never been -- and the party is always FREE if you're already a member.

For those of you new to it all: a place to be comfortable in your gender, orientation or relationship identity, direct introductions to HoS members new and old; open discussions on varied lifestyles; icebreaker games to welcome you to our club.

For our regulars: a way to ease new friends into our scene; a chance to meet all the new faces you may want to kiss later; a visit with the community even if your PAL is not around.

For everyone: PG-13 tabletop and social games, a charming host to make the introductions and explain all things HoS and sex-positive, and a cozy setting for conversations and future kisses. Be on time! Our icebreaker game, HoS Guest Bingo, runs from 7:30pm until we have a winner: get to know everyone in the room, and win a drink if you're the first to complete your bingo card.

Current host: Miss Scorpio is back hosting the mixer. Come ask her directly anything you want to know about HoS. We've been building this community for you for 10+ years, and hope to be here for 10+ more.

HoS rules: HoS membership, PAL and dress code not required; no prior approval required; Code of Conduct always applies; no photos except in the designated front area.

Respiratory safety: masks welcome; two hospital grade UV air purifiers will cycle the air.

*Taste The Rainbow happens every first Friday of the month if our Loft is available; otherwise it moves to first Thursdays.
